Terms of Use
Last updated: March 2026
1. Acceptance
By using Spect-IT you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
2. Nature of the service
Spect-IT offers vision screening and tools to find eye-care professionals. It does not replace an in-person eye examination, does not provide medical advice, and does not issue regulated prescriptions.
3. Appointments
Booking requests are sent to independent practices. Spect-IT is not party to the clinical relationship. Practices confirm times directly with patients. Cancellation policies are set by each practice.
4. Accuracy
Results depend on screen calibration, lighting, and user cooperation. We do not guarantee clinical accuracy. Seek urgent care for sudden vision loss, pain, flashes, or floaters.
5. Shop & third parties
Product listings may link to external retailers. Spect-IT is not responsible for third-party pricing, availability, or fulfilment.
6. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Spect-IT is provided “as is” without warranties. We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from use of screening results or booking features.
7. Changes
We may update these terms. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. Material changes will be noted on this page.
